The University of Messina has organized several events aimed at sharing its sports facilities with the local community. It focused on the world of disability with the aim of achieving full accessibility to sports facilities, promoting and ensuring the regular usability of services. In September, a gym was inaugurated in the historic center of the city, with modern and state-of-the-art equipment available to the entire community, as well as to students and university staff. Sports and financial plans were also approved with a significant budget for the management of sports activities for the student population. In addition to free access for UNIME students, transport services to the sports complexes will be increased.
