On April 9, 2021, a meeting-debate on the theme of "freedom of procreative choices and effectiveness of rights" took place live on Facebook on the page of the University of Messina. The event was organized by the Department of Law, in collaboration with the University Center for Bioethics Studies (CESB), the University Single Guarantee Committee (CUG) and the Italian Society of Human Reproduction (SIRU). The meeting took place in three sessions and focused on topics such as the transfer of embryos and crisis of the couple, maternity surrogacy, and transcription of birth certificates issued abroad. Participating students were awarded CFU educational credits.
